If you would like to see the highest cross in Slovakia autoptic, you would have to go to the region of Záhorie. The Millennium Cross rises majestically on a vast meadow along the road that connects village of Rybky and Oreské.

The Cross was built and consecrated in 2000 for the glory of Jesus Christ on the occasion of the jubilee of his birth. Its height is 27 m, arm span 9 m. There is a colour relief with five doves in the cross of arms, symbolizing the five continents.

At the bottom of the Millennium Cross, there is a chapel of Divine Mercy. The interior of the chapel is filled with relics of St. Faustina. The crosswalk leads to the cross with 14 simple crosses symbolizing the Stations of the Cross. Along the sidewalk, you can find benches inviting to relax and contemplate. The place has a nice view of the surroundings.
