Ľutinská hora is not only for believers, but also for the general public, a well-known place of revelation of St. Nicholas to a poor girl Zuzana Fekete. Today, Ľutinská hora (Ľutinská Hill), situated above the village of Ľutina, is the largest pilgrimage site of the Greek Catholics in Slovakia.
The extensive area of this pilgrimage site also includes the mini open-air museum of wooden temples, which is situated near the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin. Visitors can admire miniature 10 wooden temples in 1:10 scale, which are a jewel of folk and spiritual architecture of Slovakia.
All wooden replicas of the temples are from the surroundings of Snina, but the goal is for the mini-museum to present all 41 wooden temples of the Prešov region in one place, supplemented by several temples from the Polish border.
Each replica is fitted with an information board that describes the temple and describes its history. The whole area is nicely arranged and perfect for relaxation of individuals, groups, as well as families with children.
