In the enchanting environment of the Mojtín Karst, nature has shown its charm and conjured a unique and magnificent cave called Mojtínska Cave, also called Cave of St. Joseph. This abyssal cave is also interesting in that in the past it also served as a kind of cave church for hundreds of people.
The cave has a distinctive entrance that will take you to the spacious hall without a drop decoration, but with a sinitr coating. The cave is made special by the sacred statue of st. Joseph, which still keeps its unmistakable spiritual charm. In addition to the spectacular Mojtínska Cave, other smaller crevices and cracks can be observed in this area. With a little caution, this cave is also suitable for smaller children.
Mojtín Cave is accessible from the village Mojtín on a marked hiking trail (about 2km). You will also be guided by information boards and the marked cycling trail leads in the surroundings.
