A charming place in the heart of untouched nature, which is besides the beautiful scenery enchanted by a mysterious legend. Moses waterfalls, hidden on the southwest slope of Hromová Hill in Little Fatra, are just like that.
Moses' springs are captivating streams of water flowing from a massive rocky wall that feeds the Šútovský Stream and Šútovský Waterfall. They got their name according to the biblical story of Moses, who struck a rock in the desert with a stick, from which water spurted out. The locals claim that these sources have also been created this way.
Moses' springs are a very pleasant place to relax. We recommend combining your visit with Šútovský Waterfall and hiking in the surrounding hills of the Little Fatra. You can get to the Moses springs from the village of Šutovo (approx. 5.5 km), as well as from** the ridge of Krivánská Little Fatra.**
