Description
In the mountain environment of the village of Mučín, nature has been creating a small but remarkable cave for 19 million years. The uniqueness of the Mučínská Cave lies in the fact that it was created by the weathering of a rolled charred tree that once covered the volcanic ash once upon a time.
Mučínska Cave is only 12 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. The cave is a popular excursion place especially for the locals, who, however, are very happy to show every natural tourist this unique thing.
Mučínska Cave is easily accessible by undemanding, approx. 3 km long forest road from the village of Mučín. There is also a short nature trail. In front of the cave you can sit and relax on wooden benches.
