In the very heart of the village of Spišská Teplica, between the church from the 19th century, which was built on the foundations of the original church from the 14th century, and the post office, there is a former ground-floor building. This got a new look and meaning thanks to the project Cistercians under the Tatras – common roots and common future of Szafliar and Spišská Teplice. There is a museum in it.
The museum's permanent exhibition is dedicated to the history of the village and its residents have also contributed with many exhibits. In it you can see the cultural and historical heritage of the village in the context of the Cistercians.Here you will also find a replica of a mammoth, a paper machine, or a cash register workshop.

The museum is accessible to hikers and cyclists, and the village can also be reached by bus from Poprad. There is also a smaller municipal parking lot near the museum. .
The museum is open year-round for booked visitors. Admission is free.
