The Museum in the Hanušovce Mansion is located in the picturesque town of Hanušovce nad Topľou. The Renaissance mansion stands in the middle of the city on a small hill so it is clearly visible from the center. Right next to the mansion, there is a wheeled wooden fence in the castle park, which protects the archaeological park. On the other side of the mansion, there is a church, which served for worship service for nobles from the mansion.
At present, the mansion is home to the Homeland Museum in Hanušovce nad Topľou, which includes several interesting collections. One of them captures the natural wealth of the Vranov region. Prepared animals such as birds, deer, wolves, foxes and wild boars are displayed in the exhibition case. Fossils of marine animals are waiting for lovers of Mesozoic and Tertiary. Another attraction is the history of the Vranov region. It houses archaeological finds, folk crafts and religious objects. For lovers of World War I and II, there are war monuments and documents prepared.
In addition to expositions and short-term exhibitions, the museum traditionally prepares a number of cultural events, often accompanied by practical demonstrations of various activities.
