The Museum of Carpathian German Culture is based in the Sunyal Curia in Bratislava. It is a specialized museum of the Slovak National Museum. The museum focuses on the collection, protection, professional processing and presentation, history and evidence of the material and spiritual culture of the Carpathian Germans.
The museum offers three permanent exhibitions for its visitors:
History and culture of Carpathian Germans - the exposition offers an insight into the history and current life of the Carpathian Germans in Slovakia. The exhibits document the development of Carpathian art, clothing, dialects or objects of everyday life. The exhibition does not circumvent the sensitive period of the Carpathian Germans' history, limited by the years 1939 to 1948.
Transformations of Zuckermandl - it shows the history of the settlement of Zuckermandl located in the southern part of Bratislava's Podhradie (lower castle settlement).
House of the Carpathian-German Association in Nitrianske Pravno - an extended exhibition that offers visitors a closer look at the traditions and life of Carpathian Germans living in the Central Slovak region (the so-called Hauerland) with an emphasis on Nitrianske Pravno and its surroundings.
