The village of Ľubietová is connected with mining history and metallurgy. If you want to learn more about this golden history of Ľubietová, but also about traditional crafts or royal privileges, visit the Museum Room in Ľubietová.
It is located at the municipal office. The exhibits introduce pottery craft. The history of beekeeping is presented by medometas or old hives. The times of mining are approached by a trough, in which the ore from mines or mining burner was carried.
Among the exhibits visitors can also see the minerals known to the village. There are also information about the seven royal mining towns and their coats of arms. The most interesting exhibits definitely include a cast iron furnace from the 19th century, can be dismantled into individual plates.
The museum room is open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During the weekend, it is necessary to make an agreement with the office employee over the phone in advance.
