One of the most beautiful and less demanding ravines in the Slovak Paradise, Zejmarská Ravine, is made special with the gurgling of beautiful waterfalls - Nálepka's Waterfalls.
These waterfalls are made up of a system of waterfalls. The water spring flows over massive boulders and forms an exposed part of the hiking trail, which can only be reached by ladders.
In winter, Nálepka's Waterfalls freeze and create beautiful icefalls that fit perfectly into the surrounding nature draped with blanket of snow.
Nálepka's Waterfalls are named after Cpt. Ján Nálepka - a hero of fightings in Russia during World War II, who worked in the nearby settlement of Biele Vody (White Waters).
Zemjarská Ravine and waterfalls are part of the circular Educational Trail of Slovak Paradise from the village of Dedinky. The trail is nearly 10km long and the transition takes about 3 hours.
