In Devínská Nová Ves, near the pond, you will find a unique natural gallery. In the gallery "Šrot Park" you can admire dozens of life-size animals that live in Slovak forests. However, the statues are not carved from wood or stone. The author of the sculptures, Mr. Branislav Pokorný, creates animals from old scrap, nuts, screws or valves.
Here you will find an eagle landing in a nest made of waste wood, a wolf chasing a hare, or a badger with an inconspicuous dug hole. Animal models are set in their natural environment. Mr. Pokorný is constantly expanding the gallery and in addition to animals from the Slovak forests and you can also admire fairy-tale creatures and live animals in the mini ZOO.
Admission to the gallery is voluntary - at the entrance there is a large black petrol canister, into which you can throw money.
