The popular summer resort of Makovica is located north of Bardejov, about 3 km from the Polish border. The resort has a natural swimming pool 50x60 m with a depth of water up to 3.5 m.
It is the preferred relaxation place for people who are looking for silence, beautiful nature and do not like overcrowded swimming pools. The pool is filled with natural, drinking water. It is divided into two parts - part for swimmers and part for children.
The water temperature in the season ranges from 21 to 27° C. There is also a diving platform with two levels.
The natural swimming pool is surrounded by a carefully groomed lawn where you can spread out the sun loungers and parasols included in the entrance fee.
If you do not want to sunbathe, you can resort to the shade where hammocks are located. Children can enjoy the swings and the trampoline.
The swimming pool also boasts of non-standard amenities, including a library, located directly in the water, where you can pleasantly read.
There are also three buffets, ice cream, hot and cold dishes and grilled specialties.
