Description
Bielické bahná is a natural area extending in the town of Partizánske, or more precisely in its part of Velké Bielice. The whole area has the character of a wetland biotope on a peat base with a warm mineral spring.
Bielické mud is home to a rare habitat of European importance. In the area, there are also several lakes fed by thermal water, the bottom of which is covered by a layer of mud. However, they dry out during the dry period.
The nature trail of Bielické bahná, which has three stops, passes through the locality. Its route is undemanding and only 0.85 km long. It takes about 1 - 1.5 hours to walk the entire nature trail.
A walk to the area of Bielické bahná is a pleasant diversification of getting to know the natural unique features of our country. Thanks to the built benches you can also sit and contemplate about the local beautiful nature. The Bielické bahná can be easily accessed from Partizánske along the above mentioned nature trail.

„Našla som na nete, tešili sme sa, cestička zarastená, len vyšľapaný chodník, po chvíli sme to vzdali a otočili sme sa. Škoda. Nečakám červený koberec, ale aspoň trošku upravený terén by mohol byť 🙁“
