The beautiful cave was discovered accidentally in 1954 when the geological exploration gallery was cast. It is 300 meters long, 230 m of which is accessible. It is one of the three publicly accessible aragonite caves in the world. The other two are located in Mexico and Argentina.   There are three generations of aragonite in the cave, creating beautiful patterns that give you the impression of the bright stars of our galaxy.

In the Ochtinská Aragonite Cave access tunnel, you have to climb 104 stairs and then enter a world full of aragonite jewels.
