The historic forest railway is part of the former Kysuce-Orava forest railway from the early 20th century. Riding a beautiful Orava nature in this technical monument is an experience for both young and old.
Trains leave for their sightseeing ride from the Tanečník valley station near the village of Oravská Lesná. The 3 kilometer long track to the top station of the Beskydy Saddle is completed in about 20 minutes. On the top, there is a break during which you can ascend to the observation tower near the station and enjoy the beautiful panorama of Orava nature.
The train goes also to Kysuce and back during the season. We recommend that visitors book tickets for the ride from Orava to Kysuce in advance by phone.
