The Poľana Hill is situated in the Low Tatras and is flat and overgrown with grassy and forested vegetation. Poľana has become a sought-after location of active tourism and also a place with a wonderful circular view.
The breathtaking view is dominated by the silhouettes of the hills of Skalka, Dereše and Chabenec. From the top in north direction, there is a hiking trail leading to the Bôr Hill (1888 m above sea level) and from there to the hill of Siná (1560 m asl) - it is an important tourist crossroad. The easiest access to Poľana is from Demänovská Valley via yellow marked trail and then via the red one. Distance to the top is around 5 km long and the ascent takes less than 3 hours.
