Ponds in Ržkovany are located in the picturesque village of Lipany. They represent a system of ponds with a total area of 0.23 hectares. Currently, they are mainly used by the Slovak Fishing Association as breeding ponds.
However, even the inhabitants of the surrounding area cannot resist their beauty during the summer heat and use them mainly for recreational purposes. However, ponds are not intended for swimming, but no one can forbid you to sunbathe or have a barbecue on their shore.
The surrounding area is really beautiful and has something to offer both in summer and winter, so it would be a pity not to explore it a little. You can go hiking and experience the beautiful natural phenomena.
