Above the village of Kvačany, there is the majestic hill of Prosečné, which is one of the most attractive and popular mountains in the Choč Mountains. It is indeed a huge rocky hill, surrounded by 3 beautiful valleys and one basin.

We would recommend climbing to Prosečné Hill to more experienced tourists. In the lower sections of the route, there is a quite pleasant crossing through forests, meadows and Kvačianska Valley. After crossing this valley, a steeper climb to the top of Prosečné awaits you.

The summit itself is flat and is called Job's Meadow. It offers a beautiful view of the whole of Liptov, Orava, Western and Low Tatras. On the slopes of Prosečné, there are karst phenomena - grikes.

The Prosečné Hill is accessible by marked hiking trails, most often from the village of Prosiek (about 6 km) or Veľké Borové (about 5 km). It is also available from the west side of Svorad along the green mark. In this case, however, the ascend is even more challenging.
