Description
Levice ponds are certainly a popular place to relax and strolls for all inhabitants of the town. It is a relaxation zone and a protected area on the outskirts of the town of Levice.
Levice ponds are a unique site rich in botanical and zoological elements. Many amphibian, reptile and bird species have been recorded here.
During the summer season, the ponds are surrounded by greenery, swans float on their surface and the most varied birds are flying above you. You can stop here when you decide for a walk around Levice or during cycling trip.
In the area, there are information boards, from which you can find interesting information about the formation of ponds, their importance, as well as fauna and flora around. Levice ponds are mainly used for fish farming.
