Račkovo Saddle is another of a series of large and grassy mountain saddles in the main ridge of the Western Tatras. It is situated on the Slovak - Polish border near the wide massif of Hrubý Hill.

Račkovo Saddle is an excellent sight-seeing point especially on Račkova Valley, Polish side of Tatras, and impressive Klin Hill. The saddle is also a crossroads of several hiking trails leading to hills like Hrubý, Končistá or Klin.

Under the saddle, in the glacial cauldron, there are wonderful Račkove lakes, which enclose the enchanting Račkova Valley and are the gateway to the mountainous area full of majestic hills. These usually two lakes, with enough water, tend to break into one big lake. The above mentioned Račkova Valley is also the starting point for ascent to the saddle. The saddle is about 9 km away from the valley mouth.
