A unique place full of impressive rock formations can be found near Bytča. We are talking about Súľovské Rocks proudly towering to the heights, which include the most bizarre rock formations. One of these incredible rock formations is the Rock Gate in Slopy, which still amazes lovers of nature and tourists. It is an impressive, naturally formed huge rock hole - about 8 meters tall, surrounded by deciduous forest.

The Rock Gate in Slopy is first mentioned in historical documents dating back to 1268. It can be reached by marked trail, for example from the Súľov Chalet, of via the red and yellow route from parking lot, which is medium-demanding.

Rock Gate has its charm in any season, but probably the most picturesquely blazes just in the autumn, when its surroundings are coloured with warm autumn tones.
