Not far from the picturesque village of Predajná, dense forests hide two beautiful natural gems. These are two waterfalls, which originated on the local stream of Čelno. Another interesting thing that many tourists will appreciate is that these waterfalls are situated directly below the Kelemen tunnel, which is a unique building, and therefore was included among the technical monuments.
The cascading waterfall system has two watercourses, one of which is 5 meters high and the other is half shorter. Predajnianske waterfalls were declared a natural monument. However, the subject of protection is not only the waterfalls themselves, but also the surrounding rocky seas and preserved plant and animal biocenoses.
You can also take a trip to the waterfalls with children, as the road is not difficult and the raging water will entice the children. In summer, it refreshes pleasantly and in winter it creates charming icefalls. The waterfalls can be reached on the marked route, from the village of Predajná (about 11km) or Lopia (about 9km) You can also come here on bike, as marked cycling routes lead to waterfalls too.
