Sightseeing cruise on the Orava dam is a unique way to explore the beauty of the Orava dam with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
The ship OG SLANICA operates during the summer season between the Slanica Osada and the Slanický ostrov at fixed times. It has 80 seats, the minimum occupancy is 10 people, so you should contact us in advance for more information.
The ship is anchored 25 minutes on the Slanica Island of Art, in the middle of the dam where the Roman Catholic Church of the Exaltation of St. Cross built in the 18th century stands.
In the church, you can see the installed permanent exposition of Orava folk art and there is a lapidarium in the exterior of the church. An exposition of the history of flooded villages and the building of the Orava Dam is installed in the former tomb.
