You do not have to walk thousands of miles to enjoy the view of the world's largest feline beast - the Siberian Tiger. An Oasis was founded in Kostolná pri Dunaji, where many tiger adults live together - tiger ladies and tiger gentlemen - and also lions.
The occurrence of this tiger in nature is so rare that volunteers from the civil association have decided to preserve this species of beast. For tigers, they created an imitation of their natural habitat, along with plants, water, lying wooden stumps, and elevated seats that serve young and adult tigers for their natural games.
To keep these animals healthy and reproducing, workers must take into account their instincts and make sure they feel "happy". These tigers live alone and their area is surrounded by forest and fields. They move freely in so-called tiger gardens.
Visitors to the Siberian Tiger Oasis must comply with the rules for their own safety and move only within visitors' premises. There is a strict ban on feeding animals in the Oasis. Entering Oasis with pets is also prohibited.
The oasis is open on weekends and holidays. For more information on visiting hours, we recommend that you check out the Oasis website.
Admission is voluntary.
