A small hill of Skalka rises above the village of Hubina. It is overgrown with a forest that flows smoothly into vast meadows full of various flowers and herbs. For the locals, Skalka is a pleasant place for trips and relaxation.
It probably owes its name to the rock that emerges from its top. There is a Slovak double cross and a remnant of the transmitter. From the Skalka hill, there are picturesque views of the surrounding mountains, but also near or far towns and villages.
Very pleasant and easy ascent leads to the hill Skalka from the village Hubina (about 1.5 km) along the blue-marked hiking trail. We also recommend exploring the surrounding forests or stopping by the historic belfry.
