Skalky near Údol is a natural monument located near the village of Údol. It is a group of eight 3–13 meter high boulders that are part of the Pieniny cliff zone.
This locality is exceptional because of ammonites that can be observed on these rocks, ie an extinct group of cephalopods with a hard calcium shell resembling a slug shell that lived in a large number of species in the sea from early Devonian period to late Cretaceous period.
The area is also characterized by its specific and rare calcareous flora. Skalky near Údol as a small protected area is subject to the 4th degree of protection. The vertebral mountain of the rocks is visible from a distance, as it stands out more or less into the surrounding flat terrain. You can get here on a field or asphalt road directly from the village of Údol (about 1 km).
