The village of Králiky is located on the eastern side of the Kremnica Hills, 800 m above sea level, in the beautiful surroundings of dense forests and mountain meadows. It is an ideal place to stay for those who expect a peaceful environment with the opportunity to break away from the troubled world of today.
Interesting fauna and flora can be found in this area too. You will also find protected plants such as the lady's-slipper orchid, the Fatran purple cyclamen, the spotted gentian and the martagon lily.
There is also a ski jumping hill called Dukla which is one of the world's largest K-120 hills. However, it is unfinished and not-arranged for many years.
The ski jumping hill was in the administration of the army, after the departure of the jumpers, it passed to the administration of Banská Bystrica in 2004. In the future, there are plans to finish it and organize world events there.
There is a marked hiking trail from the recreation center of Králiky (approx. 0.5km) and Skalka in the surrounding.
