In the ski resort Žiar - Dolinky, there are 2 ski lifts with two ski slopes in operation. One of the ski slopes is artificially snowed and the ski slopes are treated daily with motor sledges.
Slight difficulty of the slopes predetermines the resort for beginners. The resort also offers night skiing on a 400-meter track.
The resort is located at the end of the village of Žiar and only 200 meters from the bus stop.
Ski equipment rental and a ski school are also available. Cross-country skiers will appreciate the groomed cross-country trails around the resort.
