Sliač Spa is historically the first spa in Slovakia, which is primarily intended for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The spa is situated in beautiful nature, bordered by the charm of the Slovak Ore Mountains, the Kremnica Mountains and the Štiavnica Mountains.
There are springs of extraordinary healing water of constant temperature with a high content of carbon dioxide. Significant are 5 of them: Štefánik, Lenkey, Bystrica, Adam and Spa Spring.
The spa spring rises directly below the Spa House and is used for all treatments without any further artificial intervention. Its isothermal temperature is 33.2 ° C.
The Sliač Spa provides a wide range of therapeutic procedures (balneotherapy, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, thermal therapy) during spa and recondition stays, as well as outpatient treatment. However, booking in advance is required for the public.
