One of the most fascinating expositions of Slovak Mining Museum is certainly the Mineralogical Exposition located in the national cultural monument of the Berggericht - a former mining court.
Visitors will find more than 400 different types of minerals from locations around the world, which are organized into a currently valid taxonomic system. Rare specimens include a sample of hessite from the Botes site in Romania, stephanite and polybazite from Hodruša, and a pharmacosiderite from Nova Bana.
In the courtyard of Berggericht, there is a mining corridor with a length of 75 m and a horseshoe-shaped ground plan. Visitors can get acquainted with the rock environment, typical methods of reinforcement used in mining and mine carts - the so called "huntiks".
