The town of Senica has been located at the crossroads of trade routes since prehistoric times. From the north to the south, the "Amber Road" ran along the Morava River, and from the west to the east, the trade route, known in the Middle Ages as the "Czech Road", ran. Due to its significant location at the crossroads of trade routes, the city's location has been inhabited since the early stages of human history.
