The most beautiful part of the Western Tatras - Roháče - is full of majestic hills offering excellent and unforgettable hiking. Undoubtedly, they also include the Spálená Hill, which is adjacent to other popular mountain peaks - Pachoľa and Salatín.
The Spálená Hill is characterized by a relatively large and grassy peak, where - where there are stacked stones - can be used for emergency bivouac. Climbing to the top is one of the most challenging and requires a really good shape. Below the peak, in the Skriniarok area, there are several chains secured by chains.
The ridge from Sivý Hill to Pyšné Saddle is leading through Spálená Hill. The starting point for trips to Spálená can be Žiarska Valley (about 9 km), Zverovka (about 7 km) or Tatliakova Chalet.
Less able-bodied tourists will be pleased with possibility to shorten their journey by taking a chair lift from Zverovka to the Salatín Saddle.
