The region of Liptov is full of natural beauty wherever you look. And even in places below the Earth's surface.
Stanišovská Cave is the only year-round accessible cave in Liptov that opens its gates every day. It is located in the northern part of Jánska valley in the Low Tatras National Park, only 2-3 km behind the village of Liptovský Ján.
There are 410 meters of sightseeing route available that can be walked in 45-60 minutes. You will experience the perfect experience, also appreciated by children, by discovering the mythical and magical underground with cave guides - cavemen.
You will walk along the walls that water and mother nature have modeled into indescribable shapes. Every visitor gets a headlamp before entering, you don't need special clothing or shoes.
Stanišovská Cave is also easily accessible by car and there is also a parking lot right next to it. From there, it is only a 10-minute walk uphill. There are also marked hiking trails and a cycling trail leading here.
