Straník Ski Resort is located about 3 km from Žilina in the town dostrict of Zástranie. There are 2 ski lifts with a total capacity of 1300 people per hour and 3 ski slopes with a total length of 1.6 km. The combination of light and medium difficult slopes will satisfy both beginners and advanced skiers.
A children's ski lift is available for parents with children and there are also cross-country ski trails nearby.
The public transport is connecting Žilina with Zástranie.
