The eastern part of the village Komjatice consists of a water surface with islets, which is called "Štrkáreň" (Gravel Pit). It was created by gravel dredging in this area. Nowadays the lake is a fishing ground as well as a recreational area.
The water in the lake is clean and pleasantly refreshing. In addition to swimming, it is also ideal for diving and water sports such as windsurfing and boating. Holidaymakers will also appreciate the presence of a sand volleyball court, which is perfect for active sports.
The lakeshore is paved, mostly grassy. There are also several shelters. There are no catering or sanitary facilities available for vacationers.
