Natural BIO swimming pool Krtko is a unique swimming pool in Slovakia. There are unique biotope pools looking like natural biotope lakes. For this reason, BIO swimming pool Krtko has become a popular tourist destination. The pools are designed for swimmers, non-swimmers and even children.
The source of water in pools is a well. Chemicals are not used to clean this water, but a unique plant biosystem that consists of microorganisms, plants and algae. Since artificial cleaning agents such as chlorine are not required for water disinfection, the** water** in these pools is environmentally friendly.
The swimming pool includes grass areas where you can relax and enjoy the sun. Children will enjoy the water slide and the playground with jungle gyms and slides.
Sports-active visitors can play volleyball or minigolf. There are also food stalls offering traditional "fast food" dishes.
