Description
Flooded quarry Kralovany (also known as Sutovo lake) is located in Rieka - town part of Kralovany. The lake will enchant you at first sight. Flooded quarry is mainly used as a natural swimming pool. The surrounding terraced slopes resemble Western-style scenery.
Thanks to the clear water of turquoise color, the lake is a popular recreational locality, which is sought by not only Slovak but also foreign tourists. Due to the northern position of this lake, the temperature of the water will become cooler, and therefore during summer heats, such refreshment will certainly be a great idea
There are two large beaches with quite easy access to the water, but also several smaller ones, from where the access to the lake is somewhat more complicated. Last but not least, there is even one enclosed nudist beach.
Snacks in the area are provided by buffets and traditional swimming specialties. In close proximity there is also one motorest. Parking is reserved on a larger area near the lake and is free of charge.

„V ktorom roku zaplavili Kraloviansky Lom, lebo v roku 1958, ked som siel okolo, sa mi zdalo, ze bol este v prevadzke. Najhorsie na tom je, ze nikde sa mi nepodarilo zistit rok zaplavenia. Srdecna vdaka!“

„Parkovanie je spoplatnené. Bufet je iba jeden. Veľa odpadkov. Neodvážajú sa. Obec nemá záujem investovať ani do WC. Celkový dojem 4.“

„Príroda je krásna, jazero je naozaj nádherné. My sme tam však bohužiaľ vydržali sotva hodinu. Neviem, odkiaľ tam prichádzajú tí ľudia, ale bola to tam pre nás katastrofa. Slovník osôb, ktoré tam boli bol pod akúkoľvek hranicu slušnosti, nenadýchla som sa asi ani raz bez toho, aby som si do nosa nevdýchla cigaretový dym, ľudí tam bolo strašne veľa, sotva sme si našli miesto, aby sme sa zložili, boli tam veľké skupiny mladých, ktorí zrejme od rána niečo požívali na potuženie a boli mimoriadne hluční a vulgárni. A za parkovanie sa platí.... Vôbec toto miesto neodporúčam, aj keď je to naozaj krásne miesto.“
