Description
The region of Banská Štiavnica is rich in natural pools, gravel pits, lakes and mysteries. During the summer, holidaymakers have several options to choose from to refresh themselves. For many years, one of the most popular is a Klinger Lake, which is beautifully incorporated into the natural environment.
The Klinger Lake was created as a source of energy water for water pump machines of shafts named Ondrej and Žigmund. Later, in the first third of the 19th century, the lake was rebuilt. Since the beginning of the 20th century, it has been a popular recreational site.
The lake offers excellent conditions for bathing, swimming or water sports. The shores are paved, landscaped and grassy. Everywhere around there are trees that provide shade and cold. During the season, there is also a buffet where you can refresh yourself.
