Tankošský cer is a huge, about 450-year-old turkey oak (Quercus cerris) located in the cadastre of Pozba. At first glance, this protected tree will enchant you with its majestic size - its trunk has a circumference of 317 cm and the largest diameter of its crown is 13 meters.
The oak grows on the highest point near the village and its location offers a charming view of the surrounding countryside. You can get to it by bike or car along the asphalt road from Pozba and if you want to make your day more pleasant with a long walk, a 3km long (approx. 1 hour) field road leads to it from the village. .
