If you want to explore interesting locations in the Little Carpathians, Taricové Rocks would be a perfect place for you. They are located between the popular peak of Vysoká and Skalka Saddle.
It is a rock, a place of rubble character, with abundant flowering of a golden alyssum (Aurinia saxatilis). These tiny, yellow flowers cover mainly steep sides of the rocks. Thus, the site is named after them (Taricové rocks means "The Rocks of golden assylum).
Taricové Rocks are a pleasant stop if you plan a longer hike to the surrounding hills. From the top of the rock, there are nice views of the Vysoká Hill, the nearby Horný Hill and the surrounding forests of the Little Carpathians. In winter, the surroundings of Taricové Rocks are popular with cross-country skiers.
Taricové Rocks are easily accessible by marked hiking trails from the villages of Rohožník (about 8 km) or Sološnica (about 6 km). The route is not demanding, it is rather a pleasant trip in the lap of the Small Carpathian nature.
