The thermal swimming pool in Stráňavy is located about 10 km from Žilina and represents a symbol of the village. There are two swimming pools in the picturesque and natural swimming pool area. The 50m x 22m swimming pool provides sufficient space for water fun. The smaller, 12m x 8m children's pool is the perfect choice for children who are just getting familiar with water and swimming.
The water temperature in the pools ranges from 24 ° C to 26 ° C and has healing effects primarily on skin diseases.
After a good swim and bathing, you definitely need to refresh yourself. For visitors, there is a catering facility where you can choose from a wide range of dishes. For those who would like to enjoy the atmosphere of the Stráňavy swimming pool a little longer, there is also an accommodation facility (guest-house) and two cottages built in the area.
The area inludes a volleyball court, a playground and a *parking lot *with enough parking spaces.
The swimming pool of Stráňavy is open only in the summer season from the beginning of June to the end of August and only in case of good weather and if the daily air temperature is above 22° C.
