Tona Beach is a holiday resort located on the outskirts of the town of Šurany. It features a water surface (natural lake) surrounded by sand and gravel beach.
Water in the lake is cooler compared to other natural swimming pools, but it is characterized by its unique purity. The quality of the water in the lake depends on the weather, and its current quality and suitability for swimming can be checked on the website https://www.uvzsr.sk/
In addition to swimming and bathing the aquatic area also allows other water activities, such as water cycling. At the same time, it is also a fishing ground equipped with catfish, amur and carp.
The recreational facility operator does not forget about the children's visitors, and there is also a children's playground equipped with slides and jungle gyms.
There is a rental of water bicycles and sporting goods, a space for camping and caravans, several refreshment stands, changing rooms, sanitary facilities and a medical assistance room too.
The swimming pool is open only during the summer months in case of good weather. Various sports and cultural events are held here as well.
