Description
Between the Orava towns of Trstená and Tvrdošín, there is a part of the Oravská Magura mountain range, which includes the Uhlisko Hill.
This locality attracts mainly by hikes without large elevations or ridges, which overflow with fragrant blueberries.
A tourist marked trail leads from the town of Trstená to the top of the Uhlisko hill, which continues on to Orava Dam.
The ascent is easy and takes about 1 hour from the city. The reward on the top is a nice view of the surroundings of the town and the ridge of Roháče - Western Tatras. From the hill, you can see the large water reservoir Orava and also the neighbouring mast on the hill of Magurka.
