The Scout Museum was established in 1997, not only because of the ideato preserve evidence of scout activity in Central Europe, but also to bring young people to the life of the scout movement in individual national organizations. The museum has a rich collection documenting the historical development of the Slovak and world scout movement.
Visitors to the museum are particularly interested in collections of badges, decorations, flags, costume parts, patches, scout philately, chronicles, photographs, postcards, scout stamps or graphics. Visitors can also see the film library of the museum and the scout library with study room.
