The rocky peak of Veľký Lysec itself offers beautiful panoramic views of Zobor, Žibrice, Gýmeš Castle, panorama of the Tribeč Mountains. Quartzite rocks are also a frequent destination of climbers, that is why you can see the chains and grips they use in training up on the rocks.

Under the rocks, there is an old wooden cottage, where you can also spend the night, relax or roast something delicious. It is interesting that on the slopes of the hill, there are the remains of a settlement of Celtic origin.
