Terchova - a town rich in historical, cultural monuments and natural beauty everywhere around. Let yourself be tempted by the hike in the Little Fatra region. Take a route along the Walkaway of brigands (orig. Zbojnícky chodník), which will take you through the gorges, but also the hills with beautiful views.

You can start the hike from the Tiesňava parking lot along the blue tourist trail. The walkaway itself is a medium difficulty route, it is about 3 km long and we recommend it to a physically fit tourists. Along the way between rocky cliffs, you can count with only fascinating views, but also unexpected rock formations, a small dose of rock climbing, several risers, ladders, chains, and steel bars as well.

The Obšívanka Valley is considered to be the most beautiful section of the Walkaway of brigands, which is full of dwarf trees and interesting rocky creations. At present, the hiking trail is inaccessible from 1 March to 15 June in the Obšívanka - Malé nocľahy section.

When descending through Obšívanka you continue along the field path to Terchová through the serpentines with a steep descent. If it is not enough for you, you can diversify your hike by walking along the “Cross Road” to Oravcové Hill.
