White rocks are charming enchanting boulder hill lying in Kriváň part of Little Fatra. The area of the White Rocks is one of the most beautiful parts of the Little Fatra ridge, not only thanks to the snow-white rock formations peeping out through the shrubbery, but also to the magnificent view far and near. From the top, you will get a beautiful view of Little Kriváň, you will also see the Lučanská Fatra, Choč Hills, Lower Tatras, Greater Fatra, but also deep basins cut by these ridges.
The limestone bedrock of the White Rocks results in a rich occurrence of rare calcareous flora, both at the top and at the hillsides. In the spring, the lily of the valley, the tuberous or the lady's-slipper orchid bloom here.
During the winter, this locality is very popular with skialpinists. There are well-walked paths with mild descents a ascents, but also sections where skis need to be removed.
The starting point for trips to this part of Fatra can be one of the villages of Krasňany, Nezbudská Lúčka, Lipovec or Turčianske Kľačany.
