Visitors to the East Slovak Museum in Košice can admire a church originally from the village of Kožuchovce. The church was built in 1741 and brought to Košice in 1927. The wooden church is consecrated to St. Nicholas the Bishop.
The church has a typical three-part log construction. The premises are lined up in a row from west to east. These spaces serve as a "hen party" - a space for women, an aisle - a space for men, and a sanctuary where ceremonies are celebrated.
The interior of the church is decorated with many murals with Old and New Testament themes. Special attention should be paid to the rich folk painting from 1785, which decorates the whole sanctuary and the aisle of the church.
In 1963, the church was entered in the state list of cultural monuments. In the courtyard of the museum, there is a wooden belfry from the 18th century from the village of Ásványi.
