Beautiful and very cozy alpine chalet, which can boast of a convenient location. The Zamkovský Cottage is located at the intersection of several busy hiking trails and is therefore a temporary and destination stop for many Tatra tourists.
Zamkovsky Cottage is open all year round and for passing tourists provides not only refreshments, but also overnight. There are 23 beds in a double-, four- and five-bed rooms.
Although Zamkovský Cottage is the lowest mountain chalet in the High Tatras, it belongs to those that is supplied exclusively by sherpas.
During the winter, it is full of not only tourists but mainly skialpinists. Thanks to the undemanding hiking, we recommend you to visit it also with children. You can take a hike to Téry's cottage or to Skalnaté pleso (Rocky Mountain Lake).
The walkway to the cottage from Hrebienok is unpretentious, open all year round, and during the journey you can enjoy the magical waterfall, which is aptly called the Huge Waterfall, or breathtaking view of the Tatra Basin.
