The Museum in Zemplínské Hámre is established in a stone masonry building -the oldest building in the village from the 19th century, which originally served as accommodation for the management of the iron works. From the middle of the 19th century, this building was used as an inn under the management of the innkeeper Matyas Wieszberger. In the first half of the 20th century, the inn was owned by Anton Barna, and later the building served as a municipal service center.
Two permanent exhibitions are installed in the museum:
Separate expositions are located in other objects of the Hámorský educational trail – in the building of the hammer mill there is an exposition of blacksmithing and hammersmithing, and in a replica of the tunnel in the area below the quarry there is an exposition of mining activity.
The museum also has a handicraft workshop where workshops of pottery and loom weaving are held.
